The RMP Rotor Measuring Station is a universal measuring system for the precise measurement and quality control of multi-pole permanent magnet rotors.
Product Description
The RMP Rotor Measuring Station is a universal measuring system for recording the properties of permanent magnet rotors. The RMP is characterized by controllable axes, precise mechanics and calibrated single or triple axis Hall sensors as well as geometry detection by means of a laser sensor.
Design & Function
Permanent magnetic rotors are an essential component in motors and are used in a variety of ways. To increase efficiency, the rotors have to be precisely specified and built during development. Avoiding high starting torque, vibration, and noise requires the precise design of the rotor magnetic field. Optimal configurations can be identified using FEM simulations of the rotor magnetic field.
The RMP uses Hall sensors (single and triple axis) to accurately measure the magnetic field. The rotor chucks are quick and easy to replace. This makes it possible to meet various rotor measurement requirements (dimension, concentricity, non-magnetic chuck, etc.).
