The Matesy GmbH

 

is an innovative technology company located in the center of the university town of Jena. The company was founded in 2008 as a spin-off of the R&D institution “INNOVENT Technology Development” and specializes in the visualizationcharacterization and generation of magnetic fields. Furthermore Matesy uses magnetic properties for various applications, such as: three-dimensional localization of magnetic marked particles and objects, targeted drug release in humans’ gastrointestinal tract, intelligent examination of safety features and material development.

As developer and producer of systems and technologies of the highest standard we live up to our goal of quality leadership in this market segment. For that reason we maintain close collaborations to research and industrial partners. These cooperations range from a dynamic exchange of know-how, via a shared pool of ressources, through to an active business transfer.

In this process Matesy benefits from the innovative energy of many research facilities, such as INNOVENT Technology Development, the University of Applied Sciences Jena, and different Fraunhofer-Institutions and represents the production and sales platform for the developed products. Matesy stands for clear structures and short decision-making processes. Our core competency extends over the entire area of magnetism. As a member of a complex network of national research facilities and firms, we are able to develop excellent solutions to a large number of problems.
